A lot of production from Kiel softball batters wasn’t enough to get the win as the Raiders fell to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 4-2 yesterday (April 14th).
Coach Jenny Niels tells Seehafernews.com that there were three double plays on defense from Taylor Halfmann, Jossie Schaefer, Lillie Brockway, Sydney Crom, and Ally Endries.
Niels and Schaefer also went 2-3 at the plate while Niels and Aubri Fruend combined to strike out 11 batters and allow four hits on the mound.
The Raiders fall to 0-3 overall and are hoping to get their first win this afternoon when they travel to Valders to face the Vikings in an EWC contest.
